Bupati HST Takes the Lead in Anti-Corruption Campaign and Development of Integrity Zone in the Government of HST
In order to enhance the performance of the local government, steps towards optimizing the implementation of development are being carried out by Pemkab HST through planned development programs and activities. The high demand for improved welfare necessitates better and more effective bureaucratic reforms, which is the initial step towards organizing a system of governance that is good, effective, and efficient.
In this regard, the Inspectorate of the Central Hulu Sungai District held the Anti-Corruption Socialization and the Launching of the Integrity Zone Development in the Government of HST on May 5th, which was opened by Bupati HST H Aulia Oktafiandi at Grand Daffam Q Hotel. The aim of this event was to increase accountability and integrity within the local government, providing the necessary intervention in the supervisory area of the Internal Governmental Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) according to the MCP of the Corruption Eradication Commission.
The declaration of the Integrity Zone Development is an effort to accelerate the achievement of the reform’s objectives, such as the improvement of capacity and organizational accountability, clean institutions free from corruption, and enhancing public services. The signing of the declaration during the event mandates that all participants adhere to the stated goals and objectives.
Bupati Aulia expressed his hope that the activities and discussions held during the event would provide the necessary understanding, perception, and commitment for all Regional Apparatus members to take preventive measures in combating corruption, as part of creating an Anti-Corruption Zone (WBK) and a Clean and Serviceable Bureaucracy Zone (WBBM).
Meanwhile, the HST Regional Inspector, H Ainur Rafiq, as the organizer, reported that the event’s purpose was to raise awareness and understanding of the importance of preventive measures in combating corrupt practices in the legislative and local government. Several notable figures, such as the HST Chief Prosecutor, the Polres HST, the BPKP Representative for Kalsel Province, and the Monitoring Directorate of the KPK were present to provide their perspectives and guidance.
The event was composed of three core activities: the Launching of the Integrity Zone Development towards a clean and serviceable bureaucracy, the implementation of the Fraud Control Plan socialization, and the Integrity Assessment Survey implementation socialization. These activities aimed to ensure that all government institutions work effectively, transparently, and efficiently in guarding against corrupt practices and providing quality public services.
The success of this event reflects a significant step towards cleaner and more accountable governance in HST, with ongoing efforts focused solely on ensuring corruption prevention and providing quality public services.
