TANJUNG, metro7.co.id – Bupati Tabalong, H Anang Syakhfiani officially opened the public consultation meeting (Forum Konsultasi Publik) for the Population and Civil Registration Sector in 2023, held by the Population and Civil Registration Office (Disdukcapil) of Tabalong, on Tuesday (27/6), at Wisma Pendopo Bersinar Pembataan Tanjung.
The Head of Tabalong Disdukcapil, Rowi Rawatianice, reported that this FKP event involved about 60 participants, including the Heads of UPD Vertical Institutions, community leaders, NGOs, young leaders, universities, Subdistrict Heads in Tabalong District, the Chairman of IDI and maternity clinics, as well as Village Heads in the two districts of Tanjung and Murung Pudak.
“The purpose of this FKP event in the field of population and civil registration administration in 2023 is to provide an overview and align policies and the implementation of population administration services with public expectations, minimize policy impacts that may harm the community, and ensure that the public understands their rights and obligations as citizens in obtaining complete population documents,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Bupati of Tabalong, H Anang Syakhfiani, stated that the essence of this event is because the government considers that the concept of services, especially population services, must continue to be improved.
“Improving and perfecting these concepts must involve stakeholders, and this is extraordinary,” he explained.
In the modern era, the Tabalong Government has provided these concepts through the establishment of the Public Service Mall (Mal Pelayanan Publik), which provides various facilities such as waiting rooms, playrooms for children, nursing rooms, and water dispensers.
Now, the interaction between service providers and the public being served is completely different from the old system where people had to wait for hours for services.
“So, now the services provided to the public, just like the services provided to customers, treat the customer as a king. We must agree that services are dynamic because we are dealing with super dynamic individuals who want to be served,” he elaborated.
“That’s why we must continuously improve the quality of services to the community so that our efforts to realize a government that serves the people can be implemented to the best of our abilities,” he concluded.
