Ketua Aliansi Jurnalis Sanggau (AJS), Darmansyah Dalimunthe, welcomed the initiative taken by the Sanggau Police Department in monitoring the distribution of subsidized fuel and its circulation among the people. This move follows the directive and policy of the Kalbar Provincial Police Chief, Irjen Pipit Rismanto, regarding the distribution of subsidized fuel and the eradication of fuel mafia in the jurisdiction of the Kalbar Regional Police.
Haji Ucok, as Darmansyah Dalimunthe is commonly known, considered the steps taken by the Sanggau Police Department to be very appropriate in safeguarding subsidized fuel from being misused or hoarded by irresponsible elements. This situation has a detrimental impact on the national economy and can cause significant financial losses.
“I greatly appreciate the steps taken by the Sanggau Police Department to prevent the misuse and hoarding of subsidized fuel by irresponsible parties,” expressed Haji Ucok on Thursday (8/6).
He added that during the period when the Sanggau Police Department was monitoring the distribution of subsidized fuel, there was no scarcity of fuel in the region. The local people could easily access fuel from the various petrol stations scattered throughout the Sanggau District.
“We can feel the ease of getting fuel from every petrol station, and we hope that the Sanggau Police Department will continue to monitor and check both the price of fuel sold by petrol stations and the distribution of fuel itself,” requested Haji Ucok.
Based on his observation, Haji Ucok claimed that the prices of fuel sold at petrol stations in the city of Sanggau were relatively stable and affordable. “The price of Pertalite per liter is sold at Rp10,000, Pertamax Rp12,800, Solar Rp6,800, and Pertamina Dex Rp13,500. I think that the prices are in line with what Pertamina has stipulated,” he added.
Haji Ucok also expressed his gratitude to the Kalbar Provincial Police Chief, Irjen Pipit Rismanto, for the order and strict actions taken by the police force in the region to distribute and safeguard subsidized fuel. He hoped that the efforts to eradicate fuel mafia in the region would bring progress to Kalimantan Barat and especially to the Sanggau District.
“I hope that the Sanggau Police Chief, AKBP Suparno Agus Candra Kusumah, will not hesitate to take firm action against any party involved in the misuse of subsidized fuel by the fuel mafia. This is essential to prevent any scarcity of fuel that could undermine the stability of the economy and the Sanggau District,” concluded Haji Ucok.
